Looking for a highway Traffic Control Branch Manager for a large Traffic Control company in Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have highway traffic control experience and supervisory experience.

Job Details

Requirements:

• Must have industry specific experience - highway/roadwork traffic control
• Must have supervisory experience in traffic control (2+ years preferably)
• Strong leadership and people skills
• Understanding of how to run a branch - Able to coordinate projects, equipment and staff, time sheets, etc.
• Industry contacts if possible- customers you can bring with you

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality control
• Direct supervision of Superintendent
• Project management, profitability, and ticket/quantity review
• Oversee scheduling and dispatch of crews
• Logistics for job equipment
• Overseeing sign shop and inventory control
• Maintain branch backlog of all projects
• Execution of company policies and procedures particularly related to HR, safety and quality control
• Assist in hiring, discipline, counseling, and termination of branch employees
• Serve a hands-on role in every aspect of construction management including completing projects by completion dates
• Oversight of leadership development at their assigned office and assisting with implantation within the company
• Oversight of all branch operations
• Seek out new customers and report weekly business development progress
